Monica,

1) The Course full name works in the Navigation block and Breadcrumb. If these are not showing up, then either the full name and short name are the same, there is a caching issue, or a theme issue. Try testing this in the Clean theme. (See screenshot below.)

2) The 'Use site name for Site pages' setting only changes the text "Site pages" in the Navigation block to use the full name of the site you have set in Front page settings > Edit settings > Full site name. (Screenshot 2.)

3) The Course overview block in the user Dashboard will use the same sorting order as found in Site admin > Courses > Manage categories and courses.

If this is sorted alphabetically, then the user Dashboard will be sorted alphabetically. By default the sorting is not alphabetical but by order of creation of the courses.

This is true UNTIL and UNLESS the user themselves has manually sorted the courses in their own Dashboard by customising it. If they do, it no longer follows the site sort order. So different users will see different orders in their Dashboard depending on whether they have customised theirs.

4) The 'Home' in the top Navbar is controlled by the setting in Front page settings > Edit settings > Short name for site. However, sometimes themes will override this and control this setting themselves.
