I'm trying to install Moodle

ver 3.2 via GoDaddy, but I get an error that the php needs to be updated. I don't know  where to do this.

Typically one uses cPanel to do this.  But this depends upon whether you have a hosted server or VPS.  Which do you have?  It might also depend upon whether your server is Linux or Windows.  Which do you have?

Are you trying to install moodle manually (the recommended way)?  Which directions are you following?

I do have a video on one of my webpages showing how I did the installation on my experimental Godaddy hosted server.  You might find it helpful.
