Every time I (role: teacher, course creator) edit the Description of a Category I loose the embedded image (.../course/editcategory.php?id=... Edit category settings --> Description).
So every time, before I hit the Save Changes button, I first must insert the picture again (I use TinyMCE: 'Find or Upload an Image' that is stored in my Moodle online folder).
I use .gif or animated gif, or .png as image format. I embed the picture or animation in a <pre> tag to create a coloured background container for the image together with accompanying figure-text.
Where does this go wrong? Is it a flaw in Moodle, of TinyMCE, or in the CSS inline styling?
