How to allow students to share files within their group

I would like to provide students with the opportunity to upload and share files within their particular group.

What would be the best way to implement this functionality?

Moodle Version: 3.1.

Maria,

My favorite way to do this is the database activity. Make this database separate groups ithe settings page and give it an upload field. If you want them to add a description include a text area. Start your research here on how to set up database.

Probably the easiest way is to use the forum. Set them into groups and allow them to only see their own groups. They can then share and comment on files via the forum upload option.

Database activity or Forums set the separate groups settings. Separate group settings must be enable in course too.

You can use Group_Choice activity plugin to allow users to select their own groups.
