Beste Gordon,

Forgive me if this is really a stupid question, but as far as I can see we can't use the Jmatch drag-drop out-put in Moodle, can we?
And how is that in the new version? I read trought the documentation but as far as I could see the matter isn't mentioned, right?

Dear Henny,
thanks very much for bringing up the topic of JMatch.  I thought they were working, but it seems they weren't surprise

I did some testing on my server and found that a couple of problems with JMatch.
  • the left-hand text and right-hand text was often not correctly reported
  • the score was wrong (usually zero)
I have fixed these problems (on my server), but I need another day or so to check there are no side-effects with the other quiz types

I will post the updates as soon as they are ready

best regards
Gordon

Beste Henny!

I think I have corrected the problem with reporting of JMatch in HotPot v2.1. I tested with Drag-and-Drop and the drop-down menus and it all seems to working OK.

If you wait a day or so, the updated scripts will be available in the 'latest' version of the HotPot module on the Moodle downloads page:
http://download.moodle.org/download.php/modules/hotpot.zip

But if you want them now, you can get them from my server:
http://bateson.kanazawa-gu.ac.jp/moodle/hotpot-module.2.1.x.zip

Many thanks again for alerting me to this problem!

all the best
Gordon
