What zip file? There should not be a zip file in your moodle installation...
If the issue is related to Adaptable, I would start by reinstalling Adaptable. Go to your moodle/themes directory and move the adaptable folder somewhere else. Then unzip a newly downloaded folder of Adaptable to your themes directory.
See if that resolves the issue. If it doesn't, turn on debugging and then go to the offending pages, and share the error here.
