no 'unlimited grades' support for MoodleCloud ?

Dear all,

I am using MoodleCloud (free edition) and trying to make an assignment with a chance of extra credit

(i.e. students can earn more than 100% if they make extra efforts).

In the site admin, Unlimited grades' mentioned below is checked.

https://docs.moodle.org/28/en/Grades_FAQ#How_do_I_create_an_assignment_for_which_students_can_receive_a_grade_above_the_maximum.2Fabove_100.25.3F

However, I still cannot enter a grade > 100.

(Moodle asks to re-enter a grade <=100).

Is there any other option that I have to turn on ?

Or, is this feature not supported on MoodleCloud free ?

Thank you very much.

Did you also change the maximum grade in 'Grade point maximum' as in the Grade settings docs you referenced?

Thanks for replying.

I tried it, but it inflates the weight of the assignment, doesn't it ? For example, if we had three assignments, and make the max points of the 1st one to 150 (other two are 100 each). Then the total of three assignments will be 350 points. I'd like to keep the total at 300 (some may earn more than 300 but that's OK).

Do you think I'm still missing (or misunderstanding) something ?? Thank you
