Is it possible to disable the message option and/or participant list for students?

Hi Edel,

  Go to 'Site administration > Users > Permissions > Define roles'  for 'Student' role & set the below setting to 'Prohibit'

  moodle/course:viewparticipants

 This is will make participants option to disappear on mobile app.

My old participants are still visible but any new participants I assign are no longer visible on Moodle Mobile.

Hi,

if you want to disable Messaging, you must disable it in Moodle via "Advanced features". It won't work in Moodle and in the app.

We are working in new settings in Moodle to disable specific functionalities in the app, it would be available soon.
