We have a custom repository which allows our teachers to access files on one of our file servers. This repository is used to attach pdfs as file, but also used to attach media data (mp4) inside the text editor.
It's working as intended, but when you select something for the repository in texteditor context, there is a selection, if the file should be copied or linked directly. (see attachment). We want to leave only "direct linking" as option here.
So far i did not discover any solution for this. The only working thing i figured out would be having one repository plugin using "FILE_INTERNAL", which will be used in attach files only, and a second plugin with "FILE_EXTERNAL", which will be used to uplaod media in texteditor context.
Is there any other solution to prevent that dialog once a teacher selects a mp4 file and call the direct link dialog instead without offering this option?
