It's the "Front page". It's always been like that. I suppose it's because it can contain blocks, and have roles assigned so it probably makes the code easier. Anyway, it's always id=1 so you can easily ignore it. Anyway, if you are intending to assign users to the front page course you probably know about it.

I have now set up what will be our development server and will soon clone it to a production server.
Is it possible to exclude course id 1 (site) from all reports and statistics? It would be great to have this as a global setting. In my world the site will never be a course and will make any overall course statistics look really strange when presented to management.
