General help

Hello,

I am setting up my first course on Moodle for 11-12 year old children. What I would like to have is this:

• I, as a course creator, set up some material in html format and post in on Moodle as an activity;
• Then that material is copied to every single student in the course automatically;
• Once every student has his own copy, that copy is editable and accessed only by that particular student and myself.

Is this possible?

So far my progress has been such:

1. I manually create a separate group for every student in the course and add them there;
   
2. I create a wiki with settings: collaborative wiki, separated groups;
3. I then manually create a copy of my material for each group separately;
4. Things work as expected.

Steps 1-3 are very boring and surely, at least in theory, can be automated. I would be most grateful for any help!
