Quickmail reports this: Could not email {$a->firstname} {$a->lastname}.

Hi

I had QuickMail send an email out to 10 persons.
It gave a warning/error message "Could not email {$a->firstname} {$a->lastname}."
See below:



I realised that one of the persons in the "Selected List" was listed as "not in a group" as in the image below:


My question is this: QuickMail would have sent the same E-mail out to the other 9 recipients who have valid e-mail addresses right?

Right?

I'm experiencing the same problem, too. Did you ever find a solution?

For us, this was happening because some students had dropped out of the main course and were showing as hidden (grayed out) in enrolled users list of meta linked course. 

We just removed those users and instructor was able to send emails without any errors.
