Hello everyone, 


i am trying to enable global search. i installed Solr and checked that it is enabled in php info. but in the manage global search page, i get the following error. could someone please help. I am using Moodle 3.1 (obviously smile)  Much appreciated.solr

This is probably too late to help, but I documented setting up global search using solr on Ubuntu and thought it could help someone, so here are my experiences.
