I'm installing a new version of Moodle (clean install, no upgrade)

Moodle version:2016052302.08

When the installation progresses to editing the admin account ( user/editadvanced.php?id=2 ) the screen does not display icons and the links do not work:

 

Tried to enable debugging in the db but at this stage this does not seem to work.

 

Baffles me, as I have previously installed Moodle lots of times on this server....

 

Any clues?

Hi mart,

did you check the permission to the moodle folder (755) and to the moodledata (777).

Yes, permissions are OK

Try deleting your cache and localcache folders from the moodledata folder.  Also, check permissions and ownership were applied recursively.

Uploaded moodle files again, and problem solved. Must have been some kind of corrupted files somewhere...
