I downloaded a plugin yesterday "Adaptive mode (multi-part questions)" for Starck question type.

Since that, everything for the tests is blocked.

Attached, the message that opens at the connexion.

I ve the admin statut but cannot read any code lignes ....

I tried to upgrade to 3.1.2, but it doesnt work

Thank you for your help !

The page says that two core plugins are missing. How did you install the new one? Have you overwritten/deleted some part of core Moodle? Have you changed permissions such that some part of core Moodle can no longer be read?

Thank you Howard for your quick answer.

Yes and that one :

adaptive
2016052300
was missing when I downloded Stack ! I really don't know why !

Do you think I can put it again in the core ?

The new one was dragged and dropped in the window as usual !

I dont think for the permission, which one could avoid the moodle core to be read ?

+1 other related thought to what Howard has already asked ...

It's an addtional plugin (addon) so upgrading to the next highest version of core code still wouldn't include what you seek.

That specific plugin is part of qtype called STACK in which the "Adaptive mode (multi-part questions)" is  a part.

https://moodle.org/plugins/browse.php?list=set&id=17

All the addons for STACK do show compatibility with 3.1.

Are we using the drag and drop install?

Is Moodle recognizing it as an extension to the STACK plugin?

Is the downloaded zip file you have for the addon one that unzips as it should?   Normally they unzip creating a directory.   In the case of the STACK 'bundle' one might need to investigate the installation instructions again to see.  Sometimes those bundled addons one had to download the zip and unzip locally.   That unzipping broke apart the zip into the parts to install separately.

You might have to install the old/old way manually upload the zip to the proper location and unzip it manually.   Then set proper ownerships/permissions on newly unzipped directory.

Then check Notifications to get DB updated.
