Hello,

As far as I know, the setting 'Allowed email domains' only applies when users create an account using Email-based self-registration.

How are the Yahoo and Hotmail accounts being created?

The setting 'Allowed email domains' doesn't apply to accounts created with the external database plugin, as it is assumed that the external database contains only allowed email addresses.
