I want to use pop up notification of events. so I tried as shown in the movie and as a final step tried what you wrote above (clicked User menu > Preferences > Messaging). But unfortunately I got this error
Fatal error: Call to a member function load_data() on a non-object in /home/moodle/public_html/moodle/message/edit.php on line 165
is this the problem of only our system ? or known problem ?
other menus at 'User menu > Preferences >' work well..
