Require Time Spent in Activity Completion

I did set up a required time spent in Activity Completion but it doesn't prevent the students from continuing to the next activity/lesson before they have spent the required time in this activity.

Is there any other setting for this??

Have you restricted access on the following activity so it is only available once they have completed the lesson which has a required amount of time in it?

I had done that, and after I closed all Moodle tabs and windows, and restarted the computer - it worked.
