Hi, I have a windows task scheduler set up to run the cron job every 30 mins on windows srv 2008. The task shows that in runs successfully with no errors and takes about 8 mins to run. However, news forum emails are not always being sent. When I check the scheduledtasks under admin>server>scheduledtasks in moodle when the job is last run is never in sync. Sometimes it shows as 3/4 hours behind. When I check the moodle forum posts database it shows as mailed '0', so they haven't been sent.
However, when I run an individual schedule task immediately, in this case the forum job:
e.g. php schedule_task.php --execute=\mod_forum\task\cron_task, this seems to run, send out the emails and updates the last run time. I am at a loss to why the cron job is not running this in windows task scheduler. I am newish to Moodle and any guidance would be appreciated.
