how to change activation message and send enroll key

hello all...first try to use moodle...i'd like to ask:

1. how can i change the text in the activation email that new users receive,and add my own message....

2. i was trying to set the enroll key,i did ok...now,how can i inform the new registered users where they can get this key?

i created a demo user,but i dont get the key....so i can not register in a course!


i tryied to find it from the docs,no luck....

using moodle 3.0 by th way....


any help please?

  1. You can change the text using the language customisation feature. Please see the section 'Email confirmation message' in the documentation Email-based self-registration for details.

  2. You can create a keyholder role as described in the documentation Keyholder role.
