How do I set default block to open or closed

Greetings,

I am trying to customise my student profile, and want them to be able to Calendar, Latest News, Navigation, Main Menu and badges blocks. However in efforts to keep as much screen as possible visible i would like to default the badges and latest news blocks collapsed as default. Is there an easy way to do this?

Hi Leticia,

Go to Site Administration -> Appearance -> Default Dashboard/My home page

There is the place where you can manage the appearance of the user's Home pages

If You want to hide blocks entirely, go to Site Administration -> Plugins -Blocks and manage them

If you need more information, please, try the tutorials - they are really well done
