I would like to allow a user the ability to edit a couple of global CFG settings. These settings are used for a block we put on everybody's dashboard page. Is it possible to create an external page for my block's settings and a role that we can give this person so that they can edit these settings but not edit any other administrative settings? I've been trying to follow various examples but I'm not able to get this to work.
At the moment I have a role that has block and system context. My block plugin has a capability and in the role definition I have checked next to this capability. I've assigned my user this role. What do I do now so that the user can access the external settings page? I get access denied errors.
