I love the "Upcoming Events" block, and so do students. The only complaint that I have had from some students is that they will finish an "event" but it still shows in the Upcoming Events block. So I started wondering if it would make sense to give students the ability to manually turn off items in this block? I wonder if this has ever been suggested, or if it might be a good idea to add as a feature request in Tracker (I searched, but didn't find anything.)
What I would propose is that students could turn off/turn on events, but instead of disappearing, the events would be formatted as strikeout.
Any thoughts about this?
I wondered if this should be tied to Activity Completion. Any activity marked as complete would be stuck out. But I see that this might not work because miscellaneous calendar events (stand-alone events) would still need to be managed.
