The M3.1 version has one outstanding issue (https://github.com/gjb2048/moodle-theme_essential/issues/737) for which I'm awaiting replication instructions - its relatively minor and not a release stopper.

Additionally in the M3.1 version I have (after a few comments about navigation) added the breadcrumb to the grading page header and improved that section.  This should only be the beginning as the hard part was working out how to override core.  If you have ideas about this, then please let me know.  If they are easy then I'll consider adding them, if they are hard then I'll ask for funding.  Please see the attached screen shot with the improvement.
