did you figure it out? I'm having exactly the same problem. Cannot get students to self-enroll even though I have set up the self-enrollment both inside the course and plugin settings. Everything looks right, but then i get the "guests cannot access this course. Please log in" message, but no buttons to self-enrol.
please help!!

You have to log in first...when the student logs in, they will see the button. If you are looking for self registration - that is a different issue altogether.
Oh I understand, so they can't self-enroll unless they can login (i.e. they need an account).
The self-registration seems to be the route that I want to take. Is it at all possible for students without an account to self-register?
