Can anyone else verify that the ALL link which should load all course glossary or glossary category terms, instead only loads the first 10 terms in Moodle 3.1.1+ (Build: 20160721)?
I can confirm that the ALL link does indeed only list the first 10 entries. There are page links 1, 2, 3, ... 100 to access the remaining entries. I don't think it would be very good for all glossary entries in a very large glossary to be displayed on one page.
Thanks for the confirmation of this bug. I'll open a tracker for the issue, as the display ALL feature has been in existence since glossary was first introduced to Moodle over 10 years ago, but has now stopped working with Moodle 3.1.
Actually, I don't think it is a bug. It seems like pagination is working in the glossary the same as elsewhere in Moodle.
Just checked to confirm my memory:
This is exactly the same as on a Moodle2.8 site - 10 items per page with pagination links at the bottom of the page.
In the Glossary settings > Appearance there is an 'Entries shown per page' which you can alter from the default 10 for each glossary and in the Site Admin > Plugins > Activity Modules > Glossaries you can alter that default on a site wide basis.
Possibly your upgrade has overridden that setting to change the previous behaviour you had on your site?
Hope that helps
