Help with Moodle Layout

Hello all,

I have just started using Moodle and have not much knowledge about it and I am trying to change the topic layout within a course to the grid view but for some reason I cannot.

Please can someone help me out on this?

Grid format is an optional plugin. Have you installed it?

As I am editing the our Moodle platform online (which I presume is Moodle Cloud?) how would I use this plugin then?

Unfortunately (? - well maybe - reduces flexibility but also allows it to be free!), if you are using Moodle Cloud then you are limited to the plugins installed and cannot add extra plugins to your site, such as the grid format.
