Where can I find/download the recorded files of PoodLL on the Moodle?
PoodLL can record in so many places we need to know which ones. For instance, if it is an Assignment with submission type set for Online PoodLL, just select Download all submissions from the grading page, and you will get a zip fill with all the PoodLL files in it. If you're like me and put recordings all over the place, then you might need to be using the player that gives you a download button.
I want to do is to download the files recorded and maybe delete afterwards to lessen the space in the LMS. Thanks AL.
There is no central way to manage PoodLL recordings yet. Al's answer is about the best you can do. In the PoodLL filter settings if you switch on "show download icon beside player", you should get a download button. And when you reset a course or delete an activity, presumably Moodle performs housekeeping on the files on that course or activity
You answered while I was doing some testing, as I knew it would work for assignments, but was only pretty sure that the download button was the only way to go with quiz questions.
If you are wanting to have an easy way for your students to make PoodLL recordings and for you to be able to easily delete them, there are other ways to do this. The Atto PoodLL Anywhere buttons will let you do recordings in the forum, database, glossary, newest version of journal, or just about anywhere you can use the Atto editor. All of those options allow for easy deletion. If you also install the PoodLL repository plugin, then you can also do recordings with the Podcast (pcast) plugin, which was my favorite way of having students submit recordings.
Hi Justin, Al
Thank you so much for answering my question. Appreciate it a lot. Have a great day!
