Hello everyone,

I'm trying to understand whats meaning in Participation Report

Action: Post <~~

What is meaning "Post" action?

For each activity type it's meaning a different one?

Is possible I get a list about all possibilites of all activites?

I have an user that don't do anything inside a Lesson, only have clicked (viewed)

but when I select Action: post

I see Yes (1) for that user.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Helson, that's a good question!

According to the documentation Participation report 'The definition of View and Post for the selected activity type will be given on screen', however when I tried selecting a lesson, Lesson Views and Lesson Posts were shown with no definition.

I'm just going to move your discussion thread to the Lesson forum where hopefully someone will know the answer...

Hello there. I was intrigued by your question so I went and tried on our School demo site Mount Orange which has some example lessons and I found that when a student types in a response to an essay question, that is counted as a "post". However, I can't explain why your student who only viewed but didn't reply to anything is also classed as having made a "post".

Hello, Helen and Mary

First, thanks for your patience.

I can say that stundent does not posted anything beacause he

does not appear in report moodle/mod/lesson/report.php?id=...

And in moodle/report/progress/index.php?course=...

When hover the mouse over the completion box is showed "not finished 31 Dec 1969 21:00" for it user.

Analysing I realized that the log below found in mdl_logstore_standard_log

is the only record that indicates the "Action: post" to user.

But I couldn't reproduce this scenario to check what generate this log.

After  run cron, I discover that the following record indicates Post by user too...

78998;"\mod_lesson\event\question_viewed";"mod_lesson";"viewed";"question";"lesson_pages";23;"r";2;717;70;461;99;9;;0;"a:1:{s:8:"pagetype";s:13:"Dissertação";}";1469019735;"web"
