How to customize wich hidden activities can be seem by a role

Hi, Suppose there are some hidden activities or resources, for instance a Folder resource:

              visible by role1

Folder1                No

Folder2               Yes

Folder3               No


I need to show/hide some of them to a specific role. The problem is that if in Permissions page I allow to see a hide activity, it allows to see all, but I need only some of them not all. Any hep?

Using groups within a course can certainly get you what you are looking to do -- why are you looking to use different roles in this case? Knowing your end goal can help get you the answer you're seeking.
