I've got a 'chat' section as part of a course, which i'd like to run as part of a focus group. It needs to be invite only but i'd also like to give participants the option of changing their username/ hiding their moodle account details from other focus group attendees (but allow me, as facilitator, knowledge potentially).
I have multiple focus groups running on the same course but I only want participants to have access to their own. It will only be inviting people from the same institution / Moodle
1) how do i invite people to a moodle chat?
2) is it possible to only allow people access to certain chat areas or will they be able to access all as a result of the 'course' function?
3) is it possible for people to create pseudonyms? (this could be as simple as hiding the email address?)
