LTI and Moodle

Hi,

We've just upgraded our instance of Moodle to 3.0.3, due to ~4 month upgrade process from DEV - LIVE. Therefor we have just missed out on the new functionality which comes with the new 3.1 version of the LTI tool, which would solve some issues for us.

I've added the v3.1 tool to a local instance of Moodle v3.03 to do some testing, modifying a few 'version.php' files later to make them think our version of moodle is the required one, and hey presto it just seems to work, without breaking anything.

Has much changed, other than the new UI and ability to add links to activity menu, in the new version which would likely break an older version of moodle?
