Sorry I have just noticed your question, so sorry for the delay!
Have you tried changing the language when adding the the message. So for each message typed change the language to match the language that the message will be in?
Also use TinyMCE Editor as this tends to work better.

Sorry for reacting so late, I only recently noticed your answer. I attached a screenshot of the settings. The result is that the ticker displays everything, {mlang hu/en} and {mlang} included. Changing the site language while editing doesn't make a difference. I also tried adding two ticker sections with custom profile field name: lang=en and lang=hu, that didn't work either.
