Hello,

I need to interconnect a Moodle 2.4 with SSO via MNET to another Moodle 3.0, that is:

  • Moodle server with SSO capabilities: Moodle 2.4, in http:// protocol.
  • Moodle client receiving users from other Moodle: Moodle 3.0.

When I setup Moodle 3.0 in http:// protocol, all is working really fine.

However, if I setup Moodle 3.0 in https:// protocol, I receive a timeout (error 28 from curl operation) in Moodle 2.4, in particular these messages:


Request for https://labs.urv.cat/moodle failed with curl error 28
    line 105 of /mnet/lib.php: call to debugging()
    line 115 of /admin/mnet/peers.php: call to mnet_get_public_key()
Request for https://labs.urv.cat/moodle returned empty response
    line 134 of /mnet/lib.php: call to debugging()
    line 115 of /admin/mnet/peers.php: call to mnet_get_public_key()


Is there any problem having MNET to a Moodle instance having forced the HTTPS protocol?

Any similar experience?
