Pixelated profile picture - Essential Theme 3.0.1.5, Moodle 3.0.4

Hello,

We just upgraded our site to Moodle 3.0.4 using Essential Theme 3.0.1.5. We've run into a problem where the profile picture (in the upper right corner above profile name) on the homepage looks pixelated (see screen shot below). I'm assuming this is because it is bigger than the thumbnail, but I don't know how to fix it.

Is there any way to make this picture look "normal" / clear ?

I only have admin capabilities, but I can relay information to those who have access to the code.

Please help -- all of us look pixelated!

Upload a larger version of the thumbnail image.

Thank you for the great theme and the reply.

Unfortunately, installing a larger version didn't work (I'm sorry I didn't mention that earlier). The file on the first slide of the slideshow and in the profile picture are the exact same file that I recently uploaded.

Any thoughts of what we can do to fix this?
