General plugins

I’m using the Dialogue in 1.4 and it’s acting weird and it doesn’t appear to be consistent.  When I post a message or sometimes reply to a message, it adds that dialogue, but also adds a blank dialogue entry.  It even adds a blank entry to a different (unclosed) thread than I was replying to, so a person will get a blank dialogue entry (and email notification) even though they were not part of the dialogue.  Any ideas?
