In fact, Readme file in Moodle Installation package states that

"If 'Start Moodle.exe' fails to work and the windows closes automatically,
you may have something blocking port 80 on your machine.  Make sure there
are no other web servers running on this port, Skype is configured not
to use port 80, firewalls are open etc"

After reading this, I changed port 80 settings because the command window closed automatically.

I am not using Skype.

I have restored default port settings.

As advised, I deleted cache and localcahe folders from moodledata folder. Still nothing happened. In fact, command prompt stated unable to open logs and sorry nothing to do.  The window closed automatically.

I deleted entire moodle from the laptop.

I have downloaded fresh copy of Moodle 3.1.1+
MOODLE_31_STABLE from https://download.moodle.org/windows.

But again when I started Start Moodle application file, http://localhost/ did not start the installation process. Only a blank page.

I stopped the moodle using Stop Moodle application file. Command prompt stated that apache/logs ...pid file not found.

Usman, what to do?

Is Moodle installation so cumbersome and difficult?
