I'm closing this. Apparently, it stopped doing it. I tested it in Firefox and it was playing audio as soon as I click on a course, But in IE, it didn't do that. I went back to Firefox, and it stopped doing that so I'm good. Thanks.
I had the same issue and it didn't ever stop. I saw there was a Tracker for a similar issue.
I was able to stop it in Firefox by doing the following:
1) In Firefox URL bar, type about:config
2) Click "I'll be careful!"
3) search for "autoplay"
4) change media.autoplay.enabled to "false"
