Hello Awesome Community,

is there a way to limit the number of maximum users allowed for a quiz...say i have quiz 1 and quiz 2 with different time slots......quiz 1 fills up with max users, so they move to choose quiz 2.

???? is there such thing sad

Using  The fantastic new Moodle 3.1

THanks all

There is nothing like that specifically for quizzes.

But, there may be other options in Moodle. For example groups. Perhaps you could use https://moodle.org/plugins/mod_choicegroup, and set up the quiz so that it is only accessibly to users in one of two groups, and use a quiz settings override so that each groups has a different start time.

Thanks Tim for your fast response,

This will definitely do the job, Thank you so much.....it seems a bit weird that this kind of feature is there..maybe not much needed.

another question Tim if i may,

is there a way i could keep reminding users of their quiz only if they keep on  failing... once they pass the quiz, the reminder stops...

my argument in this, is that some users may finish a course in say 1 week, and would need some revision throughout the year...they will not do it by themselves.

something similar to the plugin below....
