postfix send-only email installed on moodle site, then???

Hi, there,

I registered a domain on GoDaddy,  installed moodle 3.1 in a Ubuntu 16.04 machine, and I also installed postfix as the send-only server on the same machine, following https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-and-configure-postfix-as-a-send-only-smtp-server-on-ubuntu-16-04

Now I can send out emails to gmail addresses from the command line. However, I have difficulty to configure Moodle to use the postfix. What shall I put in "SMTP Hosts" in the Settings > Site administration > Plugins > Message outputs > Email?

I tried: domainname.com, localhost, 127.0.0.1, 192.168.1.112

But none of these works.  I tried "tail -f /var/log/mail.log", all I see is not quite understandable:

Jun 25 23:11:02 dslab postfix/smtpd[12095]: connect from localhost[::1]

Jun 25 23:11:02 dslab postfix/smtpd[12095]: disconnect from localhost[::1] ehlo=1 quit=1 commands=2

Any help, please?
