Flexi_ii was certainly a powerful theme at the time - it was among the first to really take the idea of theme settings to an extreme, maybe (and according to some feedback) too far, although other feedback kept asking for even more settings It's a balancing act between customisability and usability that every theme developer needs to tread
Maybe I will revisit flexi_ii for Moodle 3.2 when I see how the HQ work on their new theme is progressing and make it a child of the new theme, but with the kind of customisations possible now
