Configurable Reports Privacy Compliance

Hello Juan,

My name is Nick and I work at a University in British Columbia, Canada. We have our own instance of Moodle and would like to install the Configurable Report block. Due to being located in British Columbia, we have very strict information privacy and security legislation in place. As a result, we must vet the block prior to its implementation in our Moodle instance. Would you mind assiting me in this vetting process by answering the questions below?

  1. Does the block collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information outside of Canada?
  2. Is all of the data used in this block stored on local servers?
  3. If this block does collect personally identfiable information, do you own the information or is that information the property of the users

Thanks,

Hi,

I'm the plugin's author:

1. No

2. Yes

3. The information that is collected is stored in Moodle, all the processing is done inside Moodle so I suppose the answer is that information is property of the users

Regards, Juan
