I have been told to look at using an authentication plugin, however this requires using a newer version of moodle then we currently are using the version that the plugin is requiring is 2015111000 however our version of moodle is 2015051103.02 I tried just to revert the plugin version requires to work with our moodle version but this caused problems.
Is there an easy way to do this the plugin we are using is the auth_emailusername plugin. Upgrading the Moodle is not an option at this time.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
