Very happy installing Moodle
But when I add any course i cant view any mod.

Essential them 2.9
Something is broken, I don't know what.
Any messages in the php.log file?
What specific versions of Moodle and Essential please.
Does the problem happen when you change to the Clean theme?
When did you notice the problem?
Have you installed any other plugins?

Depends on your installation, i.e. where PHP is installed. You are going to have to hunt for it.

Hi Gareth - I upgraded to Moodle 3.0 and decided to use your Essential theme for Moodle 3.0. I really like it and have finished my first round of customizing. I checked the course material and quizzes before turning off maintenance mode before going live. I could access the course material which is in pdf but I received the following when trying to access the quizzes: [MAIN CONTENT GOES HERE - mypkzH7GGC]. Here are my responses to your questions above:
1. php.log message: [10-Jul-2016 18:35:43 America/Denver] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/dominix5/public_html/moodle/lib/outputrenderers.php on line 112
2. Moodle 3.0 / Essential Release 3.0.1.5 (Build: 2016010210)
3. The problem DOES NOT occur when I switch to Clean theme. The quiz information is fine.
4. I noticed the problem 30 minutes ago
5. I have no other theme plugins installed

1. What are the steps I need to do to create the course with the material that breaks the theme please?
2. In the PHP log file are there any other code lines mentioned? If not please turn on developer level debugging (please search for it as an admin as I'm on iPod), then go and access the course / PDF to repeat the error and get more lines - called a stack trace.

Umm, that line is:
'pragmas' => [Mustache_Engine::PRAGMA_BLOCKS]));
Essential does not use Mustache. Therefore I really need to know how to replicate the issue / stack trace before I can even begin to fix it if indeed it is a theme error.
Could you purge the cache?
