I'm wondering if there is a way to add an extra field into the general area of course settings?
Just a simple text field so course creators can indicate the number of hours they expect a course should take. I will then display this using a custom course format on the course page (and in a few other places around the site).
I can add options into the "Course format" area of the course settings, but I'm concerned this isnt obvious and will be hidden away as it is collapsed by default.
One idea was to repurpose the ID Number box by altering the label globally, but I only really want to have this option available for courses using my custom course format.
This is for a new Moodle 3.1 site if that helps.
