I thought the point of cloud hosting was that someone else took care of the basic server admin issues, so you did not have to worry about it.
All servers should be running NTP (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_Time_Protocol) or similar. Contact the people you pay for cloud hosting, and ask them why it is not working.
