Not sure if this is the right topic or place to post this, but I found it rather interesting.
Interesting ideas, that is for sure, and clearly identifies a couple of the major problems I have faced when introducing Moodle into an new environment. I had never heard of Gartner's hype cycle, but it certainly explains a number of intense discussions I have had over the years with people who do not seem to be into elearning for the longer haul. I did not recognize their disillusionment, which would indicate that I was a little too enthusiastic in my promotion of Moodle, rather than the "one size doesn't fit all" approach I have taken in more recent times.
Thanks Marcus, a good read.
