I plan to launch courses that will be open to the public. Hence, after registering with Moodle, they choose the courses that they wish to take up. I would like to limit their access to a course for a limited period, say 1 year, while the course will be open always. How do I handle this please?
One option I see is to define Groups and restrict Group access. This calls for assigning a user to the relevant group. To automatically make this happen, I might need to modify the code which I do not want to do.
Is there a better way than this?
