I have recently upgraded one of my Moodle from a 2.7 - 2.9 with no issues, or so it seemed...
In 2.7 the activity completion was set as Student must receive a grade to complete this activity and the grade to pass was set in the grade book > Simple view.
When I've upgraded to 2.9 activity completion for the quiz has been triggered for all users who have failed the quiz obviously because of the above activity completion setting but why hasn't the grade to pass been taken into account? Should the new setting Requires passing grade be automatically ticked for these quizzes upon upgrade to avoid this issue?
Unlocking the activity completion on the quiz isn't really an option as I require the completion date for the quiz.
Just wondering if any one has had this issue and any advice about how resolved it would be great?
