I am working on an analysis tool that analyze user activity in Moodle.
As far as I understand some of the events generated with the userid are due to actions done by the system, sometime as a result from the user direct activity, and so,me time due to other user activities. For example as far as I understand, if user sent a message and them another user view the message the event message_viewed will appear under the user how create the message and not under the user how view the message. (at least this what happened in the moodle system I am working on).
In addition, I have seen sequence of events that seems to be generated from a single activity.
Thus, any information, how can I differentiate between real user activities are activities related to the user will be highly appreciated.
